Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice designed to bring about deep relaxation and inner connection.
In this audio recording from Lisa Brant, Yoga Teacher and founder of La Crisalida Retreats, you will be guided through the various stages of Yoga Nidra, in which you will re-connect your body, mind and spirit. Lisa wrote this Yoga Nidra to help you to relax, release tension and find the peace within.
The process starts with a short physical relaxation, to allow you to settle and relax into stillness. There is a time to set an intention, a sankalpa – you can use your own or one of our suggestions. Lisa will then guide you as we bring awareness to each part of the body, to connect and feel yourself as complete, whole, together. There will be a short visualisation, where you are invited to use your imagination and some times of silence.
This recording can be listened to at any time of the day, whenever you feel you need some time to relax. Towards the end of the day, before you go to bed, is an ideal time to listen to it, as it enables you to let go of tension and anxiety, to become still and calm, ready for sleep.
