Sometimes, for a different texture and flavour, we just want to drink a smoothie. This banana smoothie recipe is quick and easy. If you don´t have a blender, you can use a hand blender to combine the banana into your juice. It´s best to use a ripe banana, to give you best flavour and consistency.
Pear-smooth-tastic: pear and banana smoothie recipe
2 large pears
1/3 yellow pepper
2cm slice unwaxed lemon
½ banana (add to blender), cut into large chunks
Extra if needed: more pears, or apples.
First you need to make the juice. Assemble all of your ingredients. Give them a good wash in cold running water. You don´t need to cut out the seeds from the pepper – this will fall out into the waste bucket in your juicer. Put the pears, yellow pepper and lemon through your juicer.
Pour the juice into your blender and add the banana. Blend for 30-60 seconds, until the mixture is smooth and combined.
Wash your juicer and blender, then enjoy your smoothie!
