Juice recipe: Cinnamon Cleanse

Juice recipe - Cinnamon Cleanse

Our Cinnamon Cleanse juice is one of our popular evening juices here at La Crisalida. As well as tasting wonderful, cinnamon is said to have many health benefits. It is said to lower blood sugar levels – so it´s great to include cinnamon in your diet if you have diabetes (type 2 in particular). Cinnamon lowers bad cholesterol levels (LDL) and has anti-fungal properties, which means that eating cinnamon regularly is great if you have yeast problems (like candida) as it restricts yeast (and fungal) growth. It is also said to help to clear mucus and makes breathing easier (for people with lung or breathing problems). Some authors believe that cinnamon can reduce inflammation, so it should help to reduce pain from conditions like arthritis.

So, when you combine all of the above benefits of cinnamon, with the antioxidant properties of the carrots and apples, you have one super nutritious juice!
