Juice recipe - Kick start!

This is one of our hearty breakfast juices here at La Crisalida. Our Kick Start juice is a great way to make sure your morning begins well and will set you up for a great day.

Juice: Kick start!


2 apples
3 carrots
2 cm slice lemon
2 cm ginger (leave skin on)
1/2 avocado

Wash all of the ingredients except the avocado and put them all your juicer. Cut the avocado into half, leaving the stone in half, then scoup out the flesh from the other half. Add the avocado to your blender, add in the juice and blitz together. Drink and enjoy!

Remember, the larger the piece of ginger, the more kick and heat your juice will have. To reduce the calorie count from 432, use one-third of the avocado instead. Remember that avocados give our body essential fatty acids, in particular omega 3 (see our article on fats here)
