Assistant Receptionist at La Crisalida Retreats

Summary

Assistant Receptionists at La Crisalida Retreats are in both a guest-facing and admin role. The assistant receptionist’s role requires knowledge and experience of customer care, complaint handling, admin processes and procedures.

La Crisalida is a Health and Wellbeing Retreat. We serve plant based food and juices to de-stress the mind and body. We provide a program for guests which includes guided walks, yoga, meditation, life-makeover workshops, creativity classes, rebounding, dance classes and more. Guests can choose to take part in whatever activities they choose. Join our team and work with us to make a lasting difference in our guest’s health and wellbeing.

Essential skills and knowledge required

Salary in the range of 16,000€ to 16,500€ per annum (depending upon experience - pro-rated down for hours below 40 hours per week).

Duty Manager at La Crisalida Retreats

This is a unique and exciting opportunity. We are seeking an, experienced, friendly, professional, well-organized and dynamic Duty Manager to join our growing team.
In this position, you will be responsible for the overall management of the operation of the retreat. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring that guests experience maximum satisfaction whilst presenting an excellent positive image of the retreat that leaves a lasting impression.

The core duties are to manage the day to day running of all departments at the retreat to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Always responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
You will also help with decision making, and accountability so that staff know where to direct their questions, problems, and complaints.

Some of the Duty Managers’ Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet retreat guests; answer any questions or concerns
  • Provide an outstanding guest experience
  • Assess and review guest satisfaction
  • Monitor that sufficient resources are maintained in all key areas during a shift
  • Monitor the coordination between all departments
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the running of the retreat
  • Manage and ensure the resolution of all guest issues
  • Deal with contractors and suppliers
  • As a Duty Manager you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring all staff

Duty Manager Requirements

  • Experience of motivating, managing and leading a team.
  • Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems is required.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Significant work experience handling guest service responsibilities, preferably in a hotel/retreat setting
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant computer programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish and English
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactive approach to dealing with issues that may arise
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize and work under pressure

The expectation is that the role is very hands-on role and a warm professional attitude is always prevalent.

Salary in the range of 19,000€ to 20,000€ per annum (depending upon experience). Straight shifts only - the role will include working weekends, early mornings and late evenings.

Kitchen Manager at La Crisalida Retreats

This is a unique and exciting opportunity. We are seeking an, experienced, friendly, professional, well-organized and dynamic Kitchen Manager to join our growing team.
The kitchen team at La Crisalida Retreats are in both a guest-facing and back of house roles. The Kitchen Managers role requires knowledge and experience of customer care, nutrition, professional kitchen, health and safety, procedures and plant based food and juicing.

Essential skills and knowledge required

  • Fluent in English and Spanish an advantage
  • Communication skills
  • 2 years’ experience leading professional kitchen preferably in a retreat or vegan/vegetarian kitchen
  • Good Knowledge of food allergens and nutrition is vital
  • Experience in a guest facing role

Salary in the range of 19,500€ to 20,000€ per annum (depending upon experience - pro-rated down for hours below 40 hours per week). Straight shifts only.

Maintenance Supervisor with sound plumbing knowledge La Crisalida Retreats

Description

We are looking for a maintenance supervisor to join our team in May. The role will include overseeing alongside the housekeeping and property manager the preventive and corrective maintenance in the guest apartments and public areas of the retreat – kitchens, dining areas, swimming polls, reception etc. Working to established maintenance procedures and the standards set by the retreat.
We are looking for a person who can work in a team, has plumbing knowledge and experience in a large building/hotel.

Required Skills

The role will be contracted on a 20 – 30 hours’ basis per week.
